My husband andI found this place halfway through a vacation. Sadly we had been to a few Americanized restaurants up to this point. We were so happy to find an authentic taco place in Neuvo Vallarta. Beautiful handmade corn tortillas and the pork are the best. It is so inexpensive we were shocked! We might go there every day until we leave!

We look forward to eating here over and over during our stay in Nuevo Vallarta! I just love the tortas. My husband really likes the huevos rancheros. The cooking classes are wonderful! Make sure you make time to sign up for the classes. The staff is friendly and willing to please. Don't miss this wonderful food!

Breakfast Huevos Ranchero and Chiliquelles 65peseos each with coffee or juice. Included condiment with quacmole radishes and two kinds of hot sauce. Luis, the waiter was outstanding. The restaurant set in two red tents along side the road next to the small Medical Clinic and across the street from Bahia del Sol resort. Nice coutyard setting. Excellent homemade torillas. Husband had the chiliquelles and he said they were some of the best ever. My Huevos Rancheros were amazing. I can't say enough about how great this little restaurant is. Breakfast starts around 9 and lunch starts at 1:00,they close at 4 but last order taken by 3:30 since everything is cooked to order. They have comida corrida of the day which includes fruit water, entree with rice, beans and some with salad and homemade tortillas for $55p. We tried the Birria and the pork steak both were very good. The fruit water was pineapple which we found out went great with a little rum. They offer several different choices. Also have other entrees which you can order, pork, beef, chicken, seafood. They have a new menu that offers tacos, tortas, sandwiches along with beer and cocktails. The prices are inexpensive, fish 75p and shrimp 95p. So far we have tried breakfast and comida corrida. There are only three restaurants within walking distance plus the hotel restaurant so it was nice to find such a great little spot to for authentic, delicious and inexpensive meals. . I had the shrimp tacos for lunch today. Very good. Husband had the club sandwich which had avocado and bacon, also excellent. We shared a beer, the grand total 130 pesos or about ten dollars and change. Back tomorrow to try their grilled fresh. They have seasonal hours. Right now they close at 4;00 but in the busy season/spring they stay open until 7:00 p.m. Went back today for the fresh grilled fish and fried shrimp with rice and salad. Both were excellent. With dinner and two glasses of wine 240 pesos or about $20. We were in Nuevo for a week and ate here four times.
