Description: We take pride in feeding both body and soul since the year 2000. Charming family ambiance with a splendid view of the marina, surrounded by art. Meeting point for artists, writers and thinkers. AAA rated 2 diamonds. Look us up in the Mexico Tour Book. Home cooked family recipes. Strictly fresh, natural ingredients, preferably organic, cooked in traditional, no-nonsense ways. We adhere to the "slow food" movement for proper cooking and enjoying. During high season (October through April), we serve breakfast , lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we serve breakfast and lunch only. In low season (May to July) dinner is not served. We close August and September.

“great coconut shrimp”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

I had some of the best coconut shrimp that I've had visiting the Puerto Vallarta area in the last 13 years. Tortilla Soup and hamburger were also deemed VERY good. Unfortunately everyone staying in Nuevo Vallarta already knew this. Our party of 6 had reservations so we were promptly seated but service was painfully slow...even to get a drink. Even the delightful owners' pre-teen daughter was pressed into service!!!! Waiting was tolerable by browsing in the studio. Too bad my luggage or check book could not accommodate any of my favorite pieces. The small porch is a nice setting...maybe they just have to limit the number of diners they try to feed!!!

We will return maybe trying to go early or late. Check the daily special because coconut shrimp is not always on the menu!!!

“What a quaint place nothing fancy just good food”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This is a little gem of a restaurant located on a marina. It is run by women No guys. This is not for a five star lets have a gourmet meal This is lets just hang out and have some good tasting food that does not cost you an arm and a leg. TUesday night is cocunut shrimp night You get a great soup, an entre with some salad and vegetables It is tastey. Went back for a breakfast. The french toast is out of this world. There is a nice art gallery inside to hang out... I just liked it because it was charming and made for an enjoyable meal.
