Riviera is set apart from the strip mall cluster of restaurants in the Pardise Village area of Nuevo Vallarta. It is a very open floor plan, with a center area completely outdoors and a couple of other areas that are covered but open. Nice bar complements the fresh ingredients and solid cooking. The scallop appetizer was superb, and the tuna steak was nicely done as well (although a bit on the smaller side, so if you are a big eater, get an appetizer). The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable (about 200 pesos for a main course). The setting alone makes this place worth checking out!
