Just returned from a week stay at Paradise Village and am so pleased that resort remains our favorite place to vacation. We did an II time share exchange and it was our 6th stay at this wonderful resort.

The staff at Paradise is always accommodating, whether communicating with customer service, front desk, waiters, hostesses, beach staff, etc. They are all so quick to smile and joke and make sure that they meet any request you make and are happy to answer questions quickly. We have seen the same staff members over the years which shows it is a good place to work.

Food was 5 star and very impressive. No matter if it was full course dinner, snacks or anything in between, food is awesome. We did an all inclusive for 5 days of our 6 day stay. Food and drinks can be expensive, so if you plan on eating and drinking alot, get the all inclusive.

Resort is always immaculate and grounds are well groomed. Beach goes on for miles and miles and miles and is one of the best we have walked.

Our 2 bedroom unit was great and 2nd couple had complete privacy in their bedroom because the units are so sound proof.

Vendors on beach are polite and are quick to laugh and joke. If you say no, they do not bother you. We always like to talk with vendors to learn their different lifestyles and have always purchased great products for good prices.

Years ago we rented a car and spent time in Puerto Vallarta at shops and restaurants. This time we did not rent a car and went outside of resort several times using taxi to go to Bucerias flew market. Dusty old town we discovered 20 years ago. Still a great place to explore.

We will definately return to Paradise Village. It truely is our favorite resort and feel like we are home everytime we return.

We really enjoyed out time at Paradise Village. Here's some helpful tips. If you're traveling light, catch the public bus from the airport (13 pesos/person) to the Plaza mall and walk to the resort. Exit the airport and cross the street on the raised sidewalk. At the resort, Happy Hour is daily from 5-6pm poolside and 5-7pm in the lobby. If you cook in your room, be sure to check out a teflon pan & spatula from Member Services. You can buy most of your necessities at the Plaza mall. The deli restaurant has tasty guacamole, pico de gallo and refried beans. We had breakfast there twice. You can get french toast for 35 pesos or a basic omelet with tortillas for 55pesos. For lunch, we had a great pizza from Guidos. There's a free trolly that departs from the Plaza mall daily. If you're going to catch the bus into PV, it will cost 13pesos/pp to Walmart and then 6.5pesos/pp from Walmart to Centro. A good spot to exit is two blocks from Hard Rock Cafe. Look for the statue with the girls climbing the ladder. Great bar across the Malecon called "Cheeky Monkey", You can get $1 coronas/marguaritas or $2 mojitos. For lunch, check out Joe Jack's Fish Shack for 2x1 Mojitos and fish & chips or 1/2 lb burgers located in Old Town. Another option is Cafe Roma on Encino, great service and decent pizza (beware the 10:1 exchange rate),

Thank-you for your review of Paradise Village, and the inclusion of the helpful tips for other travellers visiting Paradise Village. It's the facts and unbiased information on TripAdvisor which makes it such a powerful resource tool for travellers.
Your comprehensive list of suggestions is definitely a great source of information for a new guest of Paradise Village, who may be unsure of some of the ways to save money and time while on vacation. The bus system in Puerto Vallarta makes taking a bus to Paradise Village cheap and easy, costing under $20 pesos per person from Old Town.

Thanks again for your review, and the tips. We hope to see you and your family again at Paradise Village.

What an amazing place. Visualize paradise, sipping a margarita on the beach under a bungalow with a slight, the sun shining, faint calm music and the scents of eucalyptus wafting from the spa. Waiters constantly at your service for whatever might meet your needs. Activities by the pool, specifically tequila volleyball, every day. Massages in the spa. Drinks in the loby bar, accompanied by live music, themed buffet nights, jet skiing around the bay accompanied by dozens of dolphins. Needless to say, a memorable vacation.

Paradise Village has something for everyone, for the young children, there are many child care options in kids club. Pool activities for teenagers, and various competitions. And of course the infamous alligator mouth slides. For young adults, dancing, drinks and the beach. And of course, activities at the pool. For romantic couples, dinner beside the ocean, themed buffet nights. You really can't go wrong when you stay at this resort.

Being a travel agent I visit and sell many beach resorts all the time.
I must say the Paradise Village is now at the top of the list for me to recommend for a excellent 4 star all inclusive. I was there with my husband, kids 6 and 8 and my mother.
I enjoyed being able to drink the water from the tap, eating fresh seafood and salads daily without any worries

We stayed in a superior 2 bedroom suite over looking the marina which was perfect.
I also had the chance to see the standard 2 bedroom facing the lap pool which was also lovely and very spacious.
I was very impressed with all the staff everyone goes out of there way to help.
All in all it was a perfect holiday!

PS The Paradise also offers the best exchange rate on the PESO

Paradise Village exceeded our expectations, the studio room we had was very clean and spacious. The food was absolutely excellent as was the drink service on the beach, the theme nights were very entertaining. You did not have to get up at 7:00am to go reserve your spot on the beach, the resort was not overcrowded at all. I would highly recommend this resort, we are actually going back with our daughter in December as this is a family friendly resort as well as a nice getaway for couples. The staff are very attentive and friendly and we were NOT bothered by time shares at all and the vendors on the beach leave you alone as soon as you say no. It is only a 20 minute cab ride to downtown PV for a quick shopping trip, we can't wait to go back!!!!
