“shopping on rodeo drive”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

my friends found their dishes, glasses, ART work, cards, PHOTOS of rocky point, PRINTS of mexican children, pewter, pottery, etc. etc. on this street. don't forget to visit consuelo's art and crafts for all kinds of really neat items to use and take home to friends, also su casa and david's kopelli, there is also a pharmacy and there is always parking places. david of kopelli is opening a FOOD restaurant in october that will have snacks, dinner, etc. etc. it is a must stop and you can walk in the shade on either side of the street. then farther down is the brand new exciting rocky point convention center, and the road winds down to the sea of cortez and the new exciting sandy beach MEDICAL CENTER which has an ambulance and doctors. Remember there are places to park on the street. there are even beach toys for the sand or water.

“Temo's Talavera for Beautiful Pottery and Home Decor!”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

If you love collecting Mexican talavera pottery, this is the mother lode! Anything from giant planters, planters shaped as rabbits, donkeys, frogs, pigs, trays, dishes, bowls, sinks, kitchen canisters, etc. are abundant in Artemio's shop - and he packs it up nicely for you in cardboard boxes.

The Dirt Mall is also called Shack's Fifth Avenue, Rodeo Drive, or on the sign, it says "Curios" - is a great place to buy souvenirs from friendly people. We also bought two metal cactus plant decorative pieces for our front yard from a lady at the end - she and her husband handmake the items right there.

I would rather shop here than the Malecon - they are not pushy…but it is on a dirt road, and there are no eateries nearby - so stop to shop, then head out elsewhere to eat.

“You Must Go Here”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

We missed this on the first trip to Puerto Penasco but will not miss it again. Unlike the other shopping area, this seemed to be much more laid back and the vendors let you look without hounding you so much. It also had what appeared to be a greater selection of items. The only downside was that there was not the eating areas like on the port side but we were there to shop and found a place to eat on the way back to the hotel. For example we purchased a childs purse and it was made by the shop owner...you could watch her make the items toward the back of the store.

“Su Casa on Rodeo Drive is a Must See”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

Just when you think you've seen it all, a new shop appears that takes your breath away with a refreshing assortment of items with which to decorate and enhance your home with the unique Mexican touches that you love. Su Casa offers a first class variety of choices at affordable prices. You won't find the same old thing that every other store on Rodeo Drive features; you will be pleased with different items ranging in price to meet all needs. In addition, Su Casa not only offers furniture for your condo or home, but will also custom make just about anything you might want to add that special touch.

As you window shop along Rodeo Drive, don't walk on by when you come to Su Casa; give yourself a treat and walk through the doors for a warm welcome and a feast for your eyes. No salesperson to breathe down your neck; just a friendly greeting, and then you are free to browse to your heart's content. Enjoy !

“Cholla Mall Shopping”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

I made a wonderful discovery the last time I was down in "Rocky Point". There is a whole area that has been revitalized. Its called Cholla Mall or 'Rodeo Drive'. It was full of fun shopping. My favorite was Su Casa. It had great gifts, wonderful 'stuff' to decorate my home. The prices were all over the ballpark, so I was able to find something unique that fit my budget… but the greatest thing was that even the most expensive items were well worth the price. I plan on going back!
