“Ramon's Restaurants”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

We ate at both of his restaurants and were rewarded with fabulous food each time. We did breaktast at the sea and lunch at the in town restaurant. We saw so many of our friends there! We will definitely be back maybe 3 times in one day. Ramon you are the greatest,

“I expected more!”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

Maybe it was just an "off night" but we were seated in an empty room (we were the only patrons) and then a pair of men were seated right next to us so we had to hear their conversation all night. This chief was named "Iron Chief" a couple of years ago. If he was that great, then he has slipped. The facility could use some updating, this is the downtown location, not the Sandy Beach location.

“Consistently good food, great margarita, excellent service (Sonoran Sea location)”
Reviewed April 10, 2011

We went to Ramon's with some friends for a Friday evening dinner. We started with a wonderful margarita - definitely one of the better ones I've had when ordering a standard margarita in Penasco. The salsa was excellent as well, and the salad was very crisp.

Friday nights include a $10 all you can eat fish fry. Served in a gigantic bell pepper, the fish strips were lightly breaded, moist, and flavorful. The shrimp a la diabla was perfectly cooked and very spicy, with an adobo sauce that hit you right away. They even have an asada taco salad, which was not in the least bit greasy.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience I'd suggest Ramon's other location off of Ochoa. But for good food, good service, and a location right at the resorts, this is definitely worth a visit.

“Ramon's new restaurant at The Sonoran Sea”
Reviewed February 15, 2011

Ramon has opened a new restaurant at the Sonoran Sea. We ate there 4 times and were satisfied each time. His Sunday brunch is $10.00 ,fresh orange juice and an omelette bar, and about 12 other choices, both Mexican and American. I highly recommend the buffet. Very good food and value and ambiance and service.
