This place was one of the most interesting museums Ive ever been in, and trust me there have been a lot! In case you don't know Posado was responsible for many of the images we see associated with Dia de Los Muertos as well as many other images.
Very informative, great gift shop and super cheap entry. The biggest drawback was that everything was in Spanish only and my Spanish isn't very good.
It is small and makes a great day if you take a cab to the nearby Museo Muerte.

The Museo Posada was a pleasant surprise in Aguascalientes. Posada was a originator of the "Catrina" image that is so prevelant in Mexico. In fact, a young Diego Rivera spent time observing Posada at work in Mexico City and was a large influence in Mr. Rivera's life.

The museum itself, while small, was very well laid out. It included a wide assortment of his prints along side the actual plates that correspond to each print. The museum faced a lively plaza that makes for enjoyable people watching. The only problem with the museum is that there is no information available in English. However, this is not much of a problem because the prints speak for themselves.
