I have stayed in many B&Bs in my time but this rates as one of the very best. The accommodation itself is excellent; clean and comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional and there is lots of it! If you are a birdwatcher it is very convenient for the Norfolk North coast. What makes this place extra special is the welcome and stunning service and attention to detail extended by Mary, the owner of the B&B. It was my first time at the White House but it immediately felt like I was staying with a long lost friend or family. Mary could not do enough to help us (stayed with a friend) and made the a great weekend bird watching in Norfolk extra special. I am already planning to go back. If you are planning on visiting the area - stay at the White House. If you are starting up a B&B visit the White House to find out how it should be done.

This is our second review of White House Farm. After a year my wife and I returned to see if things have changed at White House Farm. No they haven't. It is still a wonderful place to stay. We had the annexe which is a beautifully well equipped ground floor flat. So if you couldn't make the one minute walk over to one of Mary's excellent breakfasts you could always cook your own in your well equipped and spotlessly clean kitchen in the flat. On this last visit we returned home to an email from Mary to say I had left my neck support pillow at the flat and that she had posted it back. . . yes it arrived home first post following day. 'That's service'. As before, We still have one complaint; We can't award more than five stars.

Arrived on a wet evening to be greeted by Mary with tea & beautiful homemade chocolate cake. Immediately one felt at home. A beautiful home & a very comfortable bedroom, bathroom with all the extras ,shampoo conditioner etc, Wi-Fi in the bedroom, a fantastic breakfast all beautifully cooked, the best ever. Nothing is too much trouble for Mary giving time too chat & give local info on restaurants & shops, even buying some of the local bacon for us to take home. Mary & her husband Tim are so welcoming, you feel like old friends. We are sure to return.

This is the most fabulous place you will find, Mary came out to greet us yesterday afternoon and we feel that we have left today as old friends. Bed and Breakfasts that cater for small children are few and far between but Mary made our 7 year old son completely welcome as he played with the family pets, looked at children s books and found that a crate of toy cars were waiting for him in his room. This is a superb place to take children, the setting provides space for them to play and to have quiet time. Mary left the Christmas tree lights/ sitting room lights on to welcome us after our evening jaunt out to Holt, so on our return, after putting our son to bed we could relax in the sitting room whilst in earshot of him.
The hospitality is outstanding, our breakfast was superb. Beautifully clean bathroom and bedrooms.
If you are looking for an excellent break for any number of reasons whether it be romantic/seeing relatives/break with children then do book-you will not be disappointed.

My first time at White House Farm. My Daughter's wedding was to be 23rd December and three of us, from Northampton, just wanted somewhere near to Craymere Beck, and the Church-in-the-Park, at Hindolveston!
Well, didn't we get the bargain of the year!! Not only amazing price for Christmas time but the warmest welcome.... excellent accommodation and oh! the food....my son thought he had died and gone to heaven when we sat down for the breakfasts! (He stayed in the annex!)
I concur with all the other reviews and do not wish to repeat, but most of all, for me, was the genuine care, interest and energy that went in to making our stay just as perfect as possible ... and you certainly achieved it Mary and Tim ... and my sincere thanks. I will highly recommend! Sue Nettleton

The family had a lovely stay at Coopers House. Upon arrival there was a complementary bottle of wine and a piece of home baked cake for each member of our party. Mary and Tim could not be more welcoming. Our breakfast and pre-arranged evening meals taken in the Farmhouse were of a very high standard, with locally sourced ingredients, and all freshly cooked. Coopers House has many small rooms where those in larger parties can find a little seclusion from each other. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wishing to explore the area around Hindolveston, or looking to attend the annual Thursford Christmas Show.
