Lovely modern hotel, rooms very nice, big tv, can't hear any noise from traffic etc. One major problem was the sliding bathroom door. Very very stiff, we kept it open as I struggled to shut it. Also bed squeaky everytime you move or turn over. However without these issues it'd be 5 stars. Free wifi, albeit slow. Breakfast did the job, plenty of choice and was hot. Would stay again.

I stayed over for a night as i had a meeting at the airport. Arrived very much later than expected in the night. Staff that check me in was very unpleasant. I got a twin room bed. Rooms were good size and clean. Toilet was clean but there were no toothbrush or tooth paste. I had to buy it from the front desk. Walking distance to the airport. Breakfast was nothing great. Check out staff was helpful and very polite, cant remember her name. Overall i had a good stay except for the young male staff that check me in.

We found this hotel to be calm and welcoming offering extremely comfortable rooms. It's excellent value for money in a good location for the airport, city and other places of interest in and around Exeter

Stayed in the hotel a total of four nights. Rooms were lovely as hotel is fairly new however there were a few hairs on my towels and in the shower on my first day of arriving. Reception staff were very friendly however the bar staff and adjoining restaurant staff were the complete opposite. We were made to feel like a complete inconvenience to them when booking a table in the restaurant for 8 of us, even though there were no other bookings and the restaurant was very quiet that evening, one night we were waiting over half an hour after finishing our main meal to get our plates taken away and desert menus offered and this was only because we asked, to which we got our heads bitten off by the waitress saying she was going to come over but someone was still nibbling. We then retired to the bar in the hotel to be greeted by a very grumpy barmaid who snapped at us when we asked for it to go onto our room bill. Overall I think the hotel is lovely for the price however is extremely let down by the approach of the staff in the restaurant and bar and because of this I would not stay here again.

I stayed over for one night with my two daughters who were running in Exeter the following day. I couldn't get a hotel in the city, so plumped for this one which is outside the city, just up from the airport. The hotel was clean, the staff were attentive, and the room was fine, with the sofa bed already made up. The only thing I hadn't been told was about the air con, which I found in the morning had been left set too high, which explained why I felt hot during the night. Otherwise, no problems. Breakfast was self service, again a decent choice of food. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would recommend the hotel if you don't mind staying out of the city. We got a taxi from the main railway station which cost £16 on quote, one way.

Stayed 5th October whilst visisting Exeter. Clean room. Helpful staff. Was a bit concerned that I may be able to hear aeroplanes but it was very quiet. Breakfast was warm, but great choice of other options Will stay again.

We arrived at the airport today and took the courtesy bus to the airport. Later on in the day we wanted to go back to the airport and asked the reception where we went to get the bus. The receptionist told us that the courtesy bus cost 2 pounds each for a single trip (the airport is about half a mile from the hotel). We have been traveling all day and my husband has problems walking and was tired. We told the receptionist that we had not paid when we came, that the website said there was a courtesy bus and that paying this amount to go to the airport was ridiculous. Finally we finished up walking to the airport.

We were very unhappy with this situation. Up until then we were quite happy with the hotel, although the staff had little idea of what they were doing.

We will of course be taken this up with Hilton headquarters, but wanted to give everybody a heads up of what to expect if they stay at this hotel.
