The Marina is a great little spot to visit. It's located about 5 minutes from Hotel Catalonia. There is shopping, sports bars, dolphin discovery and lots of opportunities to find a fisherman to take you deep sea fishing or snorkeling. We took bikes all around town, we enjoyed viewing all that there is to offer each day. We stayed for 2 weeks and cant wait to return to this quiet little town.

This Marina is a great little marina to view. It's located about 5 minutes from Dreams Puerto Aventuras. Lots of little shops and stores. FYI: don't buy your liquor at the marina...very costly for obvious reasons. Anyhow, don't hesitate to stop by here...plus it's free entertainment.

This is awesome to see the boats parked and sometimes you can see the fish they've caught that day. If you look at the bottom of the sea bed by the boats you can see all kinds of dead fish and sting rays. We seen about 10 and they were HUGE! Also walk around and see the sad dolphins swimming in their enclosures. The manatees look depressed so do the seals. But its a good spot to get away from the resort when your bored.

Visited the marina while staying in playa del Carmen. A life long dream was to swim with manatees . The swim was £37.50 for an hour and you got a free lunch.
The guide was a wonderful lady called Priscilla she was very knowledgable and cared deeply for the manatees. It was a wonderful experience and I fed them with lettuce , kissed them , hugged them and held the baby. After all this I had time to swim with them it was a unforgettable
Experience. Highly recommend this and especially having Priscilla as a guide.

Went here for a few hours one Sunday during our trip to have a look around. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from which we will try on our next visit.

The things we didn't like were:
The shop assistants who were quite pushy & would follow you around without giving you time to browse. Every time you turned around, they were right behind you!
The public toilets were quite dirty
The incredibly small enclosures used for keeping the dolphins / manatees / sea lions - horrible to see.
