There is nothing to dislike about this place. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. If you like you can swim with the dolphins, manatees and seals. There are lots of yachts to admire, and dream of winning the lottery so you too can own one. There are fishing trips which leave from the marina and also pleasure trips. Of course are the usual shops for buying gifts and also a small supermarket. This year we visited the museum which is based just behind the supermarket to the other end of the block and up a flight of stairs. It is full of interesting objects including articles removed from sunken ships. There is no charge to visit the museum although donations a very welcome. If you get the opportunity Puerto Aventuras Marina is well worth a visit.

You can walk around the Marina and look at all of the dolphin areas anytime of the day. They have a lot of little shops and restaurants within the Marina area so it was very nice to wander around without anyone pushing to sell anything.

Did not like the dolphin area, thought it too cramped and diesel fumes from the boat cannot be good for them.
