There is nothing to dislike about this place. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. If you like you can swim with the dolphins, manatees and seals. There are lots of yachts to admire, and dream of winning the lottery so you too can own one. There are fishing trips which leave from the marina and also pleasure trips. Of course are the usual shops for buying gifts and also a small supermarket. This year we visited the museum which is based just behind the supermarket to the other end of the block and up a flight of stairs. It is full of interesting objects including articles removed from sunken ships. There is no charge to visit the museum although donations a very welcome. If you get the opportunity Puerto Aventuras Marina is well worth a visit.
