The service of all the resort staff was OUTSTANDING, The food in all of the restaurants was very good. The view was stunning. Although the beach seemed man made, it was very well maintained and clean, especially considering all the guests who used it. There was an awesome fire show that we did not expect, so that was an added bonus. Beware of 2 things. It really isn't necessary to pay extra for a private car from the airport, but if you do pay for one, make sure you have documentation of the expense. Also, the resort allowed some vendors in to sell their wares. These vendors can be VERY pushy and may even lie to you about the crafts being hand made by them.

Room Tip: Get the ocean view if you can and on the highest floor possible. You can even see Cozumel!

We have been coming to Dreams Puerto Adventuras for the past 6 years and come twice a year. We have also been to several other all inclusive resorts but none compare. You will not find a resort with a nicer staff and cleanliness.

Juan Segoru is the BEST
Jennifer Barnett is AMAZING
Zaitseff Cava is AWESOME

Room Tip: We always stay on the 7th floor, the preferred club.

Me and my 10 years old daughter just spent 9 day in this hotel and it has been a very positive and enjoyable experience. The hotel is conveniently located within easy reach of attractions (Xel Ha, Cenotes, Akumal) and archaeological sites (Tulum, Coba). The hotel has a very mexican feel, is maintained very clean and offers a good activity and entertainment program. it has a good beach with waiting service offering and bringing you drinks to your sun lounge all day long. They work really hard, under the sun and stand on their feet for many hours a day. I have to highlight the special friendliness on this department of Willy (Williado) and Jorge.
My daughter also enjoyed her time there as they offer a mini club service for children (4-12) with a great array of activities so they never get bored. The mini club hours are also extensive as you could leave the children on their care until 10pm if wanted. I want to thank especially Martha, Gabriella and Ceidi for their patience and dedication to the children.
The hotel also offer 5 different restaurants from Mexican to oriental food so you get spoiled for choice. The buffet breakfast is also varied and good quality. Thank you to Amado (waiter) and Silvia (receptionist) at the World Cafe. They are both really friendly and attentive and made us start the day with a big smile everyday through the breakfast service.
I cannot name individually each one of the staff but overall a big thank you to all. I hope to be able to come back soon.
Please keep up the good work.

This was a vacation with my husband and 2 teenage children. I cannot say enough about the staff at this resort. When we arrived, we were welcomed with glasses of wine and warm and friendly smiles. It only got better from here. The staff was fabulous. Everyone there always went above and beyond to accomodate your every need, whether it be at the wonderful restaurants, the bar, your hotel room etc. The ouside burger grill was great for a quick lunch or in the morning have a fresh friut smoothie. The food for the most part was fabulous with excellent presentation. I think we had one not so good meal, but on a whole it was very good and the service was always exceptional. They treat you like royalty. The rooms were cleaned everyday and in the late afternoon they would knock to see if you needed anything else, ie towels, soap, shampoo. The refrigerator was stocked daily with water, soda, beer. My daughter and I especially loved the walk in shower. Some nights they would transform the beach into a huge dining area for dinner. There was some sort of entertainment nightly. We especially enjoyed the fire show. If you stay here, I would not want to miss that. The views are breathtaking. It was a wonderful vacation and Dreams certainly made it that way.

Room Tip: We were in the 100 section 1st floor which we loved because we could step right out to the pool and beach.

This was our 5th trip to this region in the last 5 or so years. We have stayed at Valentin, El Dorado Seaside Suites, RIU Palace, Now Jade, Secrets Capri, and now Dreams Puerto Aventuras. My review is based on the comparison of what we experienced at Dreams in relation to our experiences at the other resorts. The staff here is second to none. The staff is friendly, respectful, and professional, everyone from maintenance to management. We checked-in at 1:00 and our room was ready, it was fast and efficient. I felt the food was better than any of the food we have previously had at other resorts (all-inclusive). The smoothie bar by the pool is awesome in the morning if you don't want a big breakfast. We loved the fresh green juice offered at the two breakfast restaurants. Everyone in our group went on and on about the different fish dishes offered at Oceana and Seaside Grill. Sushi was also very fresh and delicious. Room Service was quick and there was a good selection on the menu. The rooms were spacious and updated, the beds were very soft and comfortable. The air conditioning is individually controlled and will get as cold as you can stand it. Your room is cleaned daily and refreshed in the evening. There were always plenty of chairs around the beach and the pool, which is rarely the case at these resorts, it was the first time I didn't get up at 6 a.m. to get a seat by the pool or beach. I loved that you could grab more than one towel and there were no towel cards or plastic bracelets to wear. The bars were great, drinks were good, all-around. The beach here is very interesting. There is a beautiful rock walled grotto that is crystal clear and you can swim and snorkel here, beautiful fish, we spent most of our time here, very quiet, all adults, and beautiful. There is a traditional beach, which was nice, swimmable, where the families seemed to spend a lot of time. There is an adult only pool area which was also nice and not crowded. We didn't ever make it to the family pool. One of the best features here is the coffee bar, which we frequented every day, it is awesome!

Suggestions for someone going to Dreams: Bring swim shoes for the beach, this is more of a coral beach than a powder soft sand beach. If you are going without children, ask for a room on the adult side of the resort. Some restaurants and bars are closed on certain days, check ahead to make sure you don't miss out on any dining opportunities. Eat breakfast at least once at El Patio, facing the ocean, great experience. Take a walk into the resort community outside the hotel, we had a lot of fun, good shopping and great restaurants. Take advantage of the "golden ticket" if they offer to send you to Secrets, we did it and had a great time.

Suggestions for hotel: There were a few things in our room that needed updated. The vanity mirror, the toilet, the full length mirror (rust, cracked porcelain, etc). Our sink was partially clogged when we arrived (promptly fixed). I felt that if just a few things were a little bit nicer, our first impression of the room would have been greatly improved. I could see how someone might get hung up on the little things such as these which can impact your overall impression of the resort. Please consider adding beach beds to the more adult side of the resort close to the grotto and don't charge extra for them. This is a feature that many adult couples look for in a resort, and they are highly valued.
