This place is real cool. You can watch dolphins do tricks while enjoying your food and drinks. This food was good and the staff was really nice.

“Best Place in Town”
Reviewed January 17, 2014

Went last week, just follow the smell of garlic right to the restaurant. Great food reasonable price. Peter and his wife are hands on and make sure everything is great. Add in Music and Mix with happy hour before 6:00pm and you have a great combination for a fun and tasty dinner. The Menu is simple Mexican dishes done right. With Jerk chicken thrown in for a little twist.

“No fuss menu, excellent delivery”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

As Peter (the owner) tells it, the story of the restaurant's food is simple. Grilled meats/seafood combined with fresh sides, tacos, quesadillas, a smattering of appetizers, several desserts. The restaurant also offers new lunch options such as salads and wraps.

As we've all experienced at one point or another while dining out, simple does not mean easy. There are a thousand ways to mess up simple but Latitude 20 has found the perfect recipe for delivering uncomplicated delicious food in a relaxed setting that makes you want to return time and again.

FOOD - Jerk chicken was tender with just the right amount of charred spots, juicy and full of flavor. Grilled salmon with garlic was done just right. The meats are served with rice and delicious grilled vegetables, pineapple and plantain. My family was also very pleased with the tacos and quesadillas they ordered.

EFFICIENCY - Like a well-oiled machine. The open kitchen (check it out on your way to the restroom, or just go check it out anyway) showed several cooks busy whipping up orders, each one with a clearly defined role. It was one of their busier nights and the kitchen pace had picked up to meet the increasing number of tickets coming in. No panic or disorganization, just a team putting their collective head down and churning out good food. When a kitchen is run well, it's truly a beautiful thing to watch. In the midst of the service rush, the cooks still found the time and discipline to wipe down their stations.

SERVICE - Isabel is very charming and makes guests feel welcome. The friendly and efficient wait staff always willing to stop for a little chat or answer questions. Plates are cleared promptly. Impressive.

We're from the New York City area and are spoiled by the choice of restaurants available to us. However, MANY dining places in NYC could take a lesson or two from Latitude 20 about keeping it simple while executing with mastery and a smile.

Visitors to Puerto Aventuras should just skip the cluster of sub-par restaurants by the marina and just make the short walk to Latitude 20.

“Perfect”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

Delicious, authentic Mexican food assured, but this restaurant also has profound character; live music alongside a starry marina with dolphins splashing next to you, there is little more you can hope for in a dining experience. From the awesome chef Danny, to the wonderfully colorful waitstaff, everyone is always full of cheer and will make you feel at home. I live in New York City, I've eaten at Michelin starred restaurants in Paris, and I'll say with out a doubt the Blackened Jumbo Shrimp is one the best meals I have ever had. Make sure to say say 'hello' to Peter, the captain of this ship, and get one of his tasty anecdotes before you leave.
