Here annually. We had dinner at Massimo the first night, the 11th of March. Had 2 very good meals of Lemon Chicken and Bolognese. Both very good.

Went back a couple of days later and had what we felt was the best Pizza we have ever had. Yes there are great pizzas all over but this for some reason we felt we had to say "best". Very thin crisp crust and not so much fresh tomato and mozzarella that either was overwhelming. Massimo believes pia should not be filling but be more about the sensation of eating a true Italian food. Don't leave the table too full from Pizza.

If this were an Italian restaurant in New York we would go often.

We had 8 of us and had an amazing night. All our nights have been terrific in PA. Your village and town is priceless. You truly deserve your #1 ranking. Drinks could be cheaper. Your new LaCrescent, MN friends.

We have eaten here before and love the ravioli. The atmosphere is great getting to wathc the dolphin show and such, but our feeling is a bit pricey for the servings.

We've eaten here several times. First time I've written a review. Puerto Aventuras is a delightful place to visit. Lots of places to walk, shops to visit and sites to see. To fine a great restaurant was the icing on the cake. At first glance you can't tell how good the restaurant will be with it's open area, red checked table cloths and plastic menus.....don't let that fool you. The food is outstanding. They make their own pasta and you can tell it's fresh. Melt in your mouth ravioli, delicious lasagna (hint: not on menu, but ask for it. They often have make a dish of it.) Service was fine, excellent menu with lots of choices. Even have a nice selection of wines to choose from. All the desert looked good and the creme brulee was delicious. Cappaccino and limoncello were also nice. And all the time your eating, wether at lunch or dinner, the dolphins are jumping around their enclosures. Try to sit at one of the tables closest to the dolphins and enjoy the free show!!! We've been making it a point to drive down to Puerto Aventuras every year we're in Playa Del Carmen to eat at Massimo's. Don't miss it!!

We have been coming to Puerto Aventuras for the last handful of years and have tried many of the restaurants this 'Jewel of the Mayan' has to offer. We had not yet been to Massimo, an Italian fare that we had heard delivered the atmosphere and quality one would expect for a special dinner on Valentine's Day

And deliver it did, with excellent meals for our party of 6. While five of us had a variety of pasta dishes, the sixth enjoyed the "Catch of the Day". All were thrilled with the meals we received. The atmosphere at Massimo is romantic in this outdoor eatery. Nice linen table clothes, candles and an attentive staff served up a wonderful experience. It's a definite go to for a special occasion or when Italian is the only thing on your mind for dinner.
