“Historical attraction, special place”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

My visit of the Cathedral was very strong. The artwork and adornment inside has extreme detail. The longer I looked around the more little things I noticed. Out of respect for the worshipers, I did not take any pictures inside, because it is a fully functional church.

“Architecture and history”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

I really liked this place, my friends and I visited it just to fulfill the obligated visit to this place, but once you are inside the Cathedral, the roof is gorgeous, it's painted as the shroud of the Virgin Mary, with a cerulean blue and golden stars.
Right outside of the main entrance, there is a streetcar which takes you to he most interesting places of the historic downtown.
It's worth to hop on it if you want to avoid the sun... :)

“A magical place”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

San Luis Potosí is a colonial city one of the first cities founded by the Spanish conquistadores. It's well know for their silver and gold mines with allot of places to get a good deals for fine jewelry. I recommend downtown which has the cheaper and biggest silver and gold mall. Right at the hearth of town is called centro joyero.

“Beautiful architecture and feel”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

We didn't want to interrupt the mass going on too much, so we stayed to the back and sides. It is so nice and they have done a great job of the upkeep. Especially nice at Christmas when the nativities are set up.
