“This just shouldn't be”

My son loves dolphins so I took him and now that I have seen this in person, I have to say I just can't support having dolphins in a pool like this. It just is not right.

Fantastic opportunity to be in the water with these beautiful creatures! They do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable with the dolphins.

“dolphins”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

wonderful experience swimming with the dolphins. you will get wet if you are just watching your party swim with the dolphins as the dolphins like to splash the spectators but that is part of the charm of this wonderful experience. the parrot experience at the start of the program was fun and the pictures with the parrot were a fun experience for the youngsters in our group. watching the interaction of the dophins with the visitors and trainers was wonderful and a must see when you are in Ixtapa.

“Your kids will love it!”

Took our 3 year old to Delfiniti. He loved it! The dolphin we met was beautiful, gentle & so smart. It was a great time. They will not let you go if you are over 4
Months pregnant and don't tell you this before you pay so just be aware. My husband went instead so it worked out fine for us anyway.

“So much fun!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

My first experience swimming with dolphins, and it was fantastic! Delfiniti is a short taxi ride from Zihuatanejo. A trip to Delfiniti is definitely worth tearing yourself away from the beach. The staff is so helpful and friendly (English speaking of course). Before you enter the pool, they walk you through exactly what to expect and what to do. They give clear instructions while you're in the pool. The facility is clean and state of the art. And the dolphins are magical! It's just a wonderful experience not to be missed while you're in the area! We did make the mistake of walking around Ixtapa looking for a place to eat before we headed back to Zihuatanejo, because we hadn't been to Ixtapa before. I would suggest just heading back to Zihuatanejo. The restaurants we found were super touristy. We chose the best one of the bunch, but the meal was average at best, and the sound of the pounding waves was grating after a while. The waves in Ixtapa are much stronger than they are in Zihua. The beaches in Zihua are more peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing.
