“Excellent Mexican Food”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

We have eaten here every time we have come to Ixtapa, and it is excellent every time. The Mexican platter for 2 is our favourite, and could easily accommodate 3 or 4 people. The chile en nogada is so good, that it makes you keep going back. The workers are very attentive, and if you are lucky, there will be live entertainment.

“You Are Missing Mexico”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

Once again we had a fantastic meal in a fantastic atmosphere.
We had a private mariachi, there were only two tables occupied.
It is amazing that the place is not full. We are at Bayview Grand Residencial and we sent long time condo owners and renters over the night before, the have said it is the best Real Mexican cuisine in Ixtapa.
You try the chilies en nogada

“Great food”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

Had the Chile en Nogada dish. This is a traditional dish from Puebla, dating back to the time of Mexico's independence from Spain and features the colors of the Mexican flag (red, green and white). The not-hot green Poblano pepper is stuffed with a picadillo mixture (ground meats, herbs, spices, nuts, fruits and cream), then a walnut infused cream sauce is poured over the top, and sprinkled atop this are pomegranate seeds. You've never had so many subtle luscious flavors go off in your mouth!

“Loved this restaurant!”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We ate here two nights during our recent vacation. The food was wonderful and the staff even better. They had a great couple singing on Thursday night and then the girl was back on Friday night singing solo...great voice.

Very reasonable pricing, great food and fun staff...what more can you ask for!!

“Three incredible dishes we tried here!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

Not to be missed here are these three dishes we enjoyed: The Camarones Jaliscos, a dish of shrimp cooked in orange juice, lime juice and tequila, was subtle, flavorful and lovely! The Cochinita Pibil is a pork dish stewed for hours in tomato, orange juice and grapefruit juice, and the pork is so tender and soft, you hardly believe you're eating meat! Admitting that these were both wonderful, I still believe my personal favorite here is the Chile en Nogada dish. I love love love their Chile en Nogada, so La Malinche is a perennial favorite of mine!
