“Beautiful place at the end of a long bike ride”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

We rented bikes across from the Royal (8 of us). We took the 9 km trail to Playa Linda, saw crocs, beautiful birds and had an amazing journey. Oxo at the end for Sol and Clam, just what the doctor ordered

“Public Beach and Ixtapa Local Market Mix”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2014

Playa Linda's main attractions include: boat ride to Isla Ixtapa, public beach, local market for variety of stuff, restaurants and eating stalls (open after noon) and, also, Crocodiles & Iguana Sanctuary.
The main traffic to Isla Ixtapa, by boat, is from here. It is well connected with the public bus system from Ixtapa and Zihautanejo, to draw visitors from all resorts around the area, wishing to go for fishing and/or other water sports.
The market is clean and a bit pricy (compared to the one in Ixtapa) to meet the budget of the average visitor. Owners of the shops are very friendly and courteous in dealing with the customers.
