this beach is a bit more low profile, used more by locals.

I'd hate to have to spend a week on this side of the beach. Stay in the Hotel Zone.

Not much to buy or see here, except for the crocodiles which are in a very small spot near the market.

If you are going to Ixtapa, you must check out Playa Linda. There are lots of little shops and the pier to the Island. The plam trees are quite nice for a picture.

Went there by taxi, no
idea what to expect, told driver (Jesus) to pick us up in 1.5 hrs. met this mini tour guide who kept inviting us over to his bar, Frederick was his name, the one with the yellow table cloths he kept saying,Langosta something or other. Very mild mannered and sociable. Introduced us to a local oyster shucker who has never worn a pair of shoes in his life and while he was shucking oysters his pet parrot named Pecky had a nap. When Pecky woke up, all he wanted was our jewerly. We checked out the crocs and iguanas and the beach, did some shopping, went to his bar, had some cervezas and he has a parakeet in his establishment and it repeated every word i said. The beach is unreal, so long. It was a relaxed, no pressure, good time
