We are staying on Playa la Ropa but decided to spend one night at Las Brisas because we remembered their jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom. When we got to our room, it had no tub, so we attempted to change to a room with a tub. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi on the patio, which I enjoyed under the stars. We spent a little time at the adult pool. Very nice. We were too late to get a reservation at the restaurant we wanted in the hotel, so my husband, two friends, and I decided to order room service, as we had a lovely dining table. The woman who handled our order wanted to check to see if her promise of delivery in 40 minutes was going to work, and she called back to say it would. She was spot on. 40 minutes later, we were served elegantly by a wonderful waiter. The food was great, particularly the jumbo shrimp. The meal and the tub made up for anything else that wasn't perfect.

We stayed for only two nights for a friend's wedding and are kicking ourselves for not staying longer (it was hard to get time off work). Really excellent experience. We especially liked the private beach, "forest", and the all-inclusive plan that included pretty much all the drinks and food we wanted. Most of the guests were Mexican, which made us feel like we were getting a more authentic experience.

We went on a 7-day all inclusive. Our room on the 19th floor was a very good size, quiet and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The beach was amazing with lots of room and great for swimming. My only challenge was the restriction on some of the items included in the “all inclusive” including water in the room, coffee and mini bar drinks plus it only includes certain wines and cocktails. Also the buffet was quite limited in selection and seemed to repeat the same menu most days. We didn’t look at the a la carte menu so perhaps more options were a available. The other higher end restaurants require prior booking with the concierge and only open certain days. No evening entertainment like some all- inclusives. I would go back knowing these things now but I was a bit disappointed at first as my expectations had been by our previous all inclusive in Puerta Vallarta.

Built 40 years ago by a famous architect, very quiet & surrounded by jungle. It offers a free bicycle tour and an ecological tour. Every room is facing ocean. Best beach with perfect sand & color water. Perfect water temp in January. This is private so only guests are permitted. No vendors to bother you. Easy finding a shade under umbrella. On the full moon the waves were small but as the moon changed waves became big. There is a nice pool available above the ocean among beautiful trees. The hotel more busy from Thursday to Sunday. Wealthy people tend to stay so the crowd is well off. Rooms are very clean and staff is very service oriented. The main buffet were nicely set up with light arrangements, napkins, tables clothes & candle lite. The staff offered a great service, well dressed and presented. What was good you can choose from a menu and take from a buffet as well. As this hotel has two plans All inclusive and European Plan - breakfast only. Most of the dishes from the menu are free of charge except a few selections which can be ordered at 50% off if you have an all inclusive plan. Three restaurants were great. The down side too many stairs to go up and down to beach - though there is an elevator available. Family, couple oriented. Not good for singles. Mostly older clientele people. There is no night entertainment. Wished there would be a live music in the lobby every evening. The food in buffets was good but not outstanding. There could be more selection of seafood.

The beach was just gorgeous, with big waves to play in. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious. Loved the big balcony with the hammock. All rooms have a great ocean view.
Only bad thing I can say was it was a little loud in the morning on our floor. We were in the 19th floor right above the lobby so we heard a lot of chatter, and there was a family with young children who kept allowing them to scream down the halls every morning at 730 am. Not fun to wake up to that, but out of the hotels control. The food in the hotel was hit and miss. The snack bar on the beach was always great!
We were there for a wedding and that all came together beautifully, food there was amazing.

Room tip: I would recommend not staying on the 19th floor if possible. To much noise from the lobby and bar right below.
