Such a beautiful serene setting. 6 of us went for lunch in the conservatory. The food was excellent , and our waitress delightful, as the weather was beautiful (not as predicted) we had our coffee and deserts in the garden surrounded by 2 mummy ducks and their hordes of chicks, which kept us all amused. Picture perfect and wonderful food.

My future son in law's family had travelled up from Wales for his wedding on Saturday as they were staying at Mulberry House we met them for a pre-wedding dinner and drinks. We were made very welcome and took over the dinning room. The meals were lovely and we hoped this would be the start of things to come. Which of course it was. We all had lovely
evening thank you. One criticism would be the price of drinks but I guess you expect that from a top rated hotel. We had a lovely evening thank you xx

Visited today with my parents and sister and we all left very pleased and full! We sat in a beautil glass panelled conservatory with the most pleasant views of the garden and wildlife. The afternoon tea was good portion size. Four slim finger sandwiches each along with a freshly baked scone and two small cakes each as well as fresh strawberries to go with the clotted cream and jam. Our waitress was wry polite and attentive and continued to bring fresh tea and coffee over throughout. The lady on reception who took our payment was very attentive and pleasant also. Will Definately come back again.

The Mulberry house was recommended to us as lovers of Afternoon Tea, The setting is really lovely and the afternoon High Tea, was indeed quite nice, the views were lovely and as we sat anticipating our tea.

We were at first concerned that an industrial type clean up of the patio area was taking place as we were about to eat, fortunately this did stop in time, what did not stop was the constant clutter and calling out to each other of the staff setting up the other tables, this was really not nice, as they discussed which tables were to be used for a four and a five, we were described as a 3, not even politely as a table for three, we were a three, the people behind us a four, it was so impersonal, we felt like a number get them in and get them out sort of thing. Our waitress was nice enough, However other staff were setting up tables and moving things around, calling out to each other disturbing us and clattering around a wooden floor on high heels, I doubt that we shall be going back, waiting staff, should be attentive, without being overbearing, these staff were neither, we felt like as far as they were concerned, we weren't even there, for the consideration we received.
