“Drive In Disaster”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Just got back home from Casey's Drive In watching Grease in Winkfield. The only good bit of the evening was the film - frankly becuase that's the bit Casey had nothing to do with.
Having arrived quite early, we spent over 2 hours in a queue for burgers. There were probably 200 hundred people behind us who also queued in the cold for over 2 hours for food only to be told that they'd run out 20 minutes into the film. Many of them had small children who didn't get fed. It's was a mess.
Whoever Casey is, he/she quite clearly got this VERY wrong. There was 1 catering company with 1 van and and 1 Outback BBQ which is designed for family cooking. The 'Traditional American Burgers' and Milkshakes were heavily marketed to those who'd pre-booked tickets. But they severely under-estimated the number of people and that people who obviously want to eat before the film.
It was an absolute disaster. We enjoyed the movie but my advice would be that if you're going to go along to one of these events then just make sure you take you're own food.

First of all sincere apologies. You are absolutely right and we are dreadfully sorry for the poor experience that you had. We have been let down terribly by the caterer, but you are correct there are no excuses for the issues that you have raised, and we apologise profusely to you.

The caterers were told numbers prior to the event, there is no excuse. We hope you understand that the caterers are separate from Casey's Drive In. We are as disappointed as you are that with so much hard work we have been let down so badly and you've had such a bad evening.

As you probably know we have put on this event solely for the benefit of the charity Sebastian's Action Trust, which helps terminally ill children and all the profits raised are going to them so we are doubly upset with letting you down and the repercussions of this for the charity.

We will be very pleased to send you the written assurances and guarantees we were given by the catering firm. If you would like to see these please email me on caseysdrivein@gmail.com.

“What an AMAZING idea! and so much FUN!”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

Thanks to Casey and Carly for organising such a fun and unique type of cinema experience. Such an enjoyable way to spend an evening- just pile a car full of friends and family, stock up on loads of snacks and drinks when you get there, and sit back and watch some classics on the big screen! So old school!

Can't wait until the screenings in September!

“Incredible experience not to be missed.”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

‘Casey's Drive Thru’ is putting Berkshire back on the map. Immensely refreshing to have something so creative and unique happen locally, rather than having to travel miles to London for something different.
Really central, easy to find, close to surrounding towns Windsor, Ascot etc. Really felt like we were back in the 60’s. Couldn’t fault it, such a fantastic experience which all ages can enjoy. Roll on Grease and Ratatouille in September.
