Description: Hey, we are a team of young people running this restaurant in puerto escondido. After 4 months of building up the place we are so happy to present you our beautiful "restaurancito" in la bajada de las brisas, Zicatela. This place is completely hand and homemade. We put up the walls..There was cardbord before, and we built up the bar, painted the whole place and tried to offer a nice atmosphere with lots of plants. We can actually cook everything for you, on the menu we basically have great fishtacos, Crepes, Mexican Food and delicious FruitShakes and TropicaJuices. We try to be very flexible and find out what our costumers really like. We just opened one year ago and so far we are really happy about the people that came to eat to our place. Since we are not on the mainstreet in zicatela..(You just have to go up the street direction "carretera" as if you would like to go to La Punta) we are not only focused in the tourism. We try to satisfy both sides..The Mexicans and people from all over the world. We do shopping in the morning and open at 03:00pm. We close at 10:00 pm. We keep our prices low since we dont wanna get rich with a few people. For us its nicer to have a great movement in our place and to get to know all diferent kind of people which are happy to come back again because they know that we offer quality and good prices. We are looking forward to see u in LA OLITA, oh and travel recomandations are for free.

“Best fish tacos ever”

We came here for dinner due to word of mouth. The fish tacos are one of our food highlights in Puerto Escondido. The ingredients are organic and fresh. 37 to be exact! Everything is made in front of you and the flavour is to die for. For 65 pesos you are rewarded with 3 massively filled tacos. Also, the fresh juices are unbelievable too, 35 pesos for a jug. Bargain! Add the friendly owners, Grako and Sabrina and their dog, Ruok it's a great place to grab a bite at. Keep up the good work.

“do yourself a favor”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

holy poop on a stick. shazam. do yourself a favor and go to la olita before they figure out that their food is worth three times what they charge for it. the owners are amazing, chill, and eager to please; they speak four languages between them. the food is the best- no, not traditional mexican, think veracruz husband with euro wife. the best of both world's. the music- reggae sometimes then some sublime thrown in. the dog is enormous, some sort of slobbering gentle giant from brazil greeting you with languid eyes hoping for a good rub down before you you eat your...

oh gee golly. i need now mention that on top of being the best tasting food you'll have in puerto it's also the biggest plate. hell yeah, one meal per day and you're done.

“Small Treasure in Puerto Escondido”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

It is off the beaten path just off the main strip of Playa Zicatela. Very quaint atmosphere, almost unassuming. First we were surprised to hear the pricing of the "fruita y aqua" consisting of blended mango, watermelon, and honeydew with ice... about $30 pesos at the time. We were sold on the fish burritos - which had three different types of "pescado" - right away, and they were absolutely amazing. After eating at over a dozen places in our trip to Puerto we still talk about our experience there.
