We tried everything on the menu and we liked it all. All the meals are local specialties with the touch of the chef, very tasty and fresh. The view is amazing at sunset. Great service and good prices.

Cayuco is a wonderful restaurant located right on the beach. (Zicatela) The chef, Jose Miguel is classically trained (Four Seasons I think) but decided to choose a simpler life with his wife Paulina. The food is outstanding and the view at sunset is amazing. Somehow in conversation the waitress heard that I have been in the foodservice industry and shortly thereafter the owners (Jose and Paulina) came over to introduce themselves. What a wonderful couple with a real passion for food and service. I was offered a tour of the kitchen and I must say it was immaculate and all of the North American food safety practices such as coloured cutting boards, hand washing stations and sanitizers were available and in use.. Try the seared tuna – it was the freshest and best prepared and presented meal I had in Mexico. Oh, and they make a great Sangrita as well.

Great meal on the beach, watching the sun go down over the Pacific. Fire twirler added entertainment after dark. Fresh fish and good tequila. On Playa Zicatela so you can walk off your meal listening to the surf.

Newish place on the Zicatela scene. Brother and sister operation -- he's the gifted chef; she's your smiling server. Try the seared ahi tuna, crusted with crushed pumpkin seeds. The mango ceviche is to die for. Oaxacan cheese platter a great opener. Nice little friendly vibe and superior fare.

OMG I wish we could have had room to eat the entres at this restaurant. The seafood appetizer
was enormous and great. On the platter were 3 enormous fried prawns, 3 pulpo tostados and 3 tuna ceviche tostado's beautifully prepared. Yummy. We will go back here next time. Beautiful view of Playa Zicatella. Great sunset watching spot.
