This beachside restaurant is a gem and a family favourite. We come here for breakfast and love the waffles and the pizza style eggs, so packed with flavour! We are vegetarian so I don´t know about the meat menu but I can recommend the tempeh burger, it is so delicious we tend to order that. The pizzas and salads are really, really good too. So much better than Cafecito!

The menu is fantastic. Lunch includes paninis stuffed full of fresh or marinated fillings, there are pastas or healthy vego meals (including rice/tofu/veg stirfry etc). They do great pizzas after 4pm (I think the owner is Italian - needless to say the crust is awesome) and the best selection of interesting salads (with interesting ingredients) in town.
Good fresh juices, smoothies etc.

Breakfast is excellent, my fav is the Francais - a massive and light but crispy crepe folded over fresh cut fruit, unsweetened yoghurt and honey on the side - perfect.

Nice variety of sweet treats and pastries if you like that sort of thing as well.

Mana menu is a breath of fresh air in Puerto. Great for vegetarians.

Not overpriced.

Seating has great views of Zicatela, just steps from the sand.

Just loses a star because the service can be lacking sometimes.

Came here for the view and ordered the "o solo mio" pizza with fresh tomatoes, anchovy and pesto to share along with a tempeh rice dish called "gado gado". The tempeh was just okay but the seasoning reminded me of Bali and the rice was tasty. The pizza was so good we came back a week later to split it for dinner. It wasn't quite as good as the first time (a little sloppy) and we were charged 35 pesos for about 4 oz of carrot and celery juice. Great view, pleasant service, clean and nice atmosphere. Lost one star for inconsistency and an overpriced beverage.

The fresh bakery is equal but here you sit over the beach with fresh air of Zicatella beach and do not have the street in front. just don't be that late for Breakfast, they run quickly out of croissants. And they could be better organized

I have enjoyed the food at El Mana (once El Jardin), in each of its locations (it has moved a few times) over the past decade. However, the service has declined to such a low level, that my husband & I have resolved never to return. Twice recently we have gone for what we thought would be a special night out, as the setting is lovely. However, on both occasions, we waited, and waited, and waited, not only to place our order (and it was not particularly busy), and then the waiter (this last time it was the owner himself) did not end up placing our order with the kitchen. On this past visit the owner then came and asked us if we had enjoyed our meal! We had never even received it. Turned out, he had not placed it. The waiters would not even give eye contact so we could remind them that they took our drinks to the wrong table. When the table told them they weren't theirs, they brought the drinks, but left the limes on the other table. Since we could get no attention, my husband had to go to the kitchen to ask for the limes. In spite if a ridiculously bad night, of which the owner was well aware, he made no concessions or offers regarding drinks or our dinners, even though we went ahead and waited late when he finally placed our order (promising to have it ready in five minutes . . . ). It's a sad situation because the food there is actually nice.
