“Posh in puerto, and delicious!”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

We had a lovely relaxed evening. Night view of big waves under big lights, nicely decorated dining room, helpful staff and excellent meals! The seafood skewer was yummy and all pieces just right. Salads looked generous and beautiful. House red wine better than most in puerto.

“Great spot, shame about the sides...”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Great spot, wonderful fish, terrible sides ie snapper on a bed of tomatoes and capers - sounds good although it was infact sweet tomato jam. Baked potatoes which were hard and had to be sent back. No time delay between starter and main meaning a quicker table turnover and to top it off the waiter tried to sell us a trip on his boat. Un-impressed and we would not return. They need to tighten things up to be a four star restaurant in a four star hotel.

“Lovely Location and Food”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

One of the best restaurants in Puerto. Owners are vegetarian so the food has lots of options for veggies and vegans. Good seafood as well. Generally excellent service and the prices are reasonable.

“Watch the surfers while you supp”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

The hotel's restaurant is perched at one end of the beach, on the second floor, with an outstanding view right down the chute of those 20-foot waves that some of the world's best surfers are shooting. From our perch we peered down the chute as the surfer crested a wave and then entered the tunnel ... and the entire restaurant cheered as the best exited the chute, and groaned when others were crushed.

The food here was top notch as well ... we found no meat on the menu but plenty of pastas with seafood and fish with novel tropical ingredients combined in delicious sauces. They also do the standard Mexican and local fare very well.
