“Outstanding treasure”

This is a real delight set amidst 16th Century farms and lanes in the Cornish country. So close to all you would want to see and do - coastal walks and country lanes with birds, squirrels and pheasants, also saw barn owls. The cottage is beautifully presented with luxury fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. Lovely outdoor seating too, this cottage has it all.

Staying at Trevenna Cottage was the best choice ever :-) the scenery is so beautiful and the cottage itself is a very lovely and warm place.
Ian is a great host and more than helpful. He provided a lot of important information and personal instructions that made us feel very welcome.
The gorgeous cottage is well equipped, with a fantastic multi-fuel stove. Nearly all rooms have been beautifully refitted in the last couple of months and now the cottage looks amazing! Furniture and decoration have been chosen with love for individuality.
I would highly recommend this cottage to all who look for a romantic or relaxing break.
Thanks very much,Ian, for making our stay that perfect! Laura & Iris

“Amazing idyllic getaway”

We arrived at this beautiful cottage mid afternoon, directions were very accurate we didn't follow the sat nav as instructed. We found the key very easily on entering the cottage we were greeted with a welcome pack and a very nice packet of Cornish biscuits (which were delicious) milk in the fridge and tea tray ready to go,our initial thoughts were wow this is amazing. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and beautifully decorated to a very high standard, the kitchen had every utensili you could want and more, extra touches like the Bluetooth speaker was a bonus,TV in each room and wifi was great. Bathroom was lovely ,extra special touch with bathrobes and fluffy white towels. We took our dog and the garden is perfect, fairly large well looked after but safe and enclosed with plenty of local walks. this cottage more than met our expectations And we would definitely go again. Ian was a great host and kept us well informed with anything we needed to know. if your looking for a quiet, idyllic relaxing break in Cornwall this is definitely a great place to stay.

“seclusion and comfort”

Trevanna Cottage is a wonderful little cottage nestled by the beautiful countryside of South East Cornwall. It is located in a tiny hamlet which, with Ian's great directions, is actually pretty easy to find. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and very cosy. It is just the right size for two people. The small living room is a great place to relax. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom is surprisingly big and at no time do you feel cramped. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and anything you might need. There is a lovely well maintained private garden with plenty of seating area. There is lots to do in the area from beaches to walks. We also visited the monkey sanctuary which was very interesting and recommended. It is also about a 15-20 min drive to Polperro and Looe where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. We really enjoyed our stay here and were sad to leave. It is the perfect place to go and stay if you want to be secluded and have some peace and quiet. Ian was very responsive to any questions we had beforehand and clearly looks after his property well. We would most certainly stay here again.

“Trevenna is superb, beautiful interior design, spotlessly clean, very cosy and a joy to stay in”

Stunning! Better than the photos. Such a lovely little cottage, with everything you need. It's picture perfect, and the interior has been decorated to the highest standard.
Trevenna is superb, beautiful interior design, spotlessly clean, very cosy and a joy to be in - especially when the host leaves a tray laid ready for tea, milk in the fridge and Cornish biscuits to nibble on, after the journey down... The additional touches (fresh flowers in the bedroom, bath robes and soft towels) made it extra special. The bed is huge and really comfy too!
The cottage is a little off the beaten track (take notice of the directions given!) but well worth the wiggly lanes - in a lovely setting, just a great place to escape from the city. Surrounded by glorious Cornish countryside and with a lovely garden, ideal for breakfast or a cheeky glass of wine in the evening, it's a real gem.
It's a great base for exploring the area as it's just a short drive to Looe, Padstow or the Eden Project and there's also walks in the beautiful countryside and several beaches to visit.
Ian was very helpful before hand and we felt we could always contact him if needed.
We had a great few days, I can highly recommend the cottage - a perfect hideaway!

“Lovely tranquil countryside cottage, we loved it.”

We spent our mini-moon here and absolutely loved it. Set in the middle of the countryside amongst a handful of houses it really delivers on the peaceful picture it presents. There is a forest walk right by the cottage and everything else is a short drive from it (beaches and coastal path and local shops....and pub).

The food around that we loved was 'the coddy shack' and a thai restaurant both in Looe. There was no shortage of choice and if at anytime we were stuck we knew Ian - the host - would be a very quick email response away.

As a host Ian is the best I've experienced. Everything we could've wanted was supplied at the cottage both in terms of amenities and a book of local information. Really was a mini-moon made easy!!
