This was our second time at Pump Cottage, the area is beautiful the Cottage is excellent it has everything you need including a log fire which really gives good heat output. If you walk around a mile from the Cottage you find a little chappel St Clether a really peaceful place.

Ta Mill is one of the few places that's actually better than it appears on the website (which in itself is excellent). I cant pick one single fault with it, simply the best place Ive ever stayed in. AMAZING!

It was the quiet that we noted first - so lovely after staying near towns and in B&B's for the past week. We spent the week in the Hayloft, whose interior looked almost new with white, sheetrocked walls using the original stone and beams as appointments. Very effective, clean and attractive. We thoroughly enjoyed having so much space at our disposal. The bed was soft, but comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The kitchen contained all we needed to make several meals, and the laundry room downstairs was very handy. Due to the thickness of the granite walls, we were not able to access wifi in the Hayloft, but we could from our car, which was parked next to the reception area. Helen also made the office available should we need it. It rained for much of our visit, so were didn't get to enjoy the little balcony off the living room, but it was charming, nonetheless. Helen was very helpful with suggestions and directions and was a bright and cheerful presence throughout our stay.

Room Tip: We had a group below us, which we were able to hear when we walked by their windows, but which we he...

We stayed in on one of the log cabins with our dog. The accomodation was comfortable, well equipped and very clean and comfortable, especially the bed which was so comfortable!
Views were fantastic as log cabin no. 4 was the last in the line of 4, we were surrounded by beautiful fields with cows on the hills and sheep outside the front door (in a gated field).
I felt immediately relaxed as it was so tranquil, I could hear the babbling brook out the front and the large balcony was perfect for an evening glass of wine/meal and chat our next day explorations.
The grounds are very beautiful and well kept, if you are a nature lover then this is a very good spot as all sorts or birds and animals heard and seen day and night. There are some good walks on the site and venturing out to the public footpaths.
The directions and details supplied by the owner took us straight to the door, which considering it if off the beaten track was very useful and we also received help and advice on local places of interest and where to eat locally, both verbally and from the comprehensive guide in the chalet.
The only down side to our trip was the weather but that didn't spoil the visit at Ta Mill as the views and peace wasn't spolit by the rain.
If you are looking for a relaxing get away the this is the place for you.
I would definately like to go again.

We stayed in millers cottage, the pictures didn't do it justice the accommodation was fantastic of a really high standard great for couples to get away. Plenty of parking, the location is secluded and quiet. We went for the jubilee week the weather was a let down but we still managed to visit everywhere we wanted, including St Michaels mount, Tintagel, Boscastle, and even drove down to looe, oh and if you get a chance go to bodmin jail scary!!! would recommend all of the above places. We also ate at the local pub the Sun Inn this was better than just pub grub and worth trying.. all in all we had a great stay and would go again, lovely holiday. Thanks Julia and Dave..

Fab place to stay.

Cottage was tidy and had all the things we needed. We were tucked away in one of the cottages behind the others. It was nicely secluded from the others. Little bit of a drive to get to a main road. But my partner and I wanted somewhere that was hidden away.. this certainly was.

My partner and I brought a Groupon voucher to visit Ta Mill for a 3 night stay, in which we stayed in the Hayloft. We had such a fantastic time, the accommodation was so amazing that we didn't want to leave!! It was very well equipped, full kitchen (including microwave, oven, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer and all utensils!), large double bed and en suite bathroom including a walk-in shower. It was all very modern and very clean :). The bit we loved the most was that we had a real log fire we could use (as well as heating), wood was available all hours and many items can be brought at the reception such as food, condiments and toiletries.

We did use the games room which you can play pool (50p per game), darts and table tennis. There is also a nature trail which we followed down to the pond which is also situated on the Ta Mill's land, the walk was very nice but unfortunately not a very long walk but you then can continue walking to reach a church and some other areas of interest.

The host was lovely and very helpful, upon arrival she showed us to the Hayloft and showed us around, explained all facilities and everything else around the area to do. Any time we required anything she was available.

We highly recommend this for anyone, especially for a romantic getaway this was one of the best places we've been and are highly considering going back again, maybe in the summer? Hmmm..... :)
