This is a great find in an area where restaurants, good or bad, are a bit thin on the ground. Guests are warmly welcomed by the young owners, who can explain the menu in English, and the surroundings, typical of the Brenne, are redolent of times past. The food, specialising in locally sourced dishes, is excellent and reasonably priced with a wine list to match. During the summer season and for Sunday lunchtimes booking is advisable.
