Old heritage Vishnu temple on the way to Pahalgam from Srinagar. It gives you a different feeling compared to any traditional temple.

This is built on 33 degree latitude. This is not just any latitude number. Its a Sacred Number of Christ Consciousness or Krishna Consciousness...all stemming from Lord Vishnu's Consciousness of Love, Light, Truth, Illumination, Wisdom, Harmony, and Healing Powers. The entrance is an Inter-Dimensional Gateway ....for those who are energy workers and mediums.

It is no surprise that it was destroyed. Nothing on 33 degree can exist until it is surrounded by energy of the highest purity. Any lower energy or high density vibration would automatically cause it to self-destruct. And it did.

To all visiting it, please very consciously walk into the Gate, pause, meditate, breathe in deep and feel your consciousness shift. Walk to the spot that hosted Vishnu Ji's statue and rest around on a stone and meditate.

Please do not spoil this Sacred Energy Vortex and Gateway with casual loitering or littering. My suggestion: do not eat inside, nor drink, smoke or chit chat. Respect the high power in this place, be reverent, be holy.

The sardar guide is very enthusiastic as its his profession and earning. Do not spend too much time sight seeing with him, allow him to guide you to the layout, the different deities that have their mini temples within the complex, then bid him adieu and be alone. Be with Lord Vishnu and receive Him direct...you dont need an agent to make your connection with God!

On the way from Srinagar to pahalgam you can visit this temple. We were informed by the guide that the song "Tum aa gaye ho" from film Aandhi was shot here. It takes an hour ride to reach here. A very beautiful temple with just ruins left to adore.

This temple is in total ruins including the main santum and other temples. The main temple was about 45 feet tall and housed the God Vishnu that is now shifted to a temple in Lal chowk in Srinagar. Observing the site reveals it was a huge temple complex with many small temples on the boundary. The details of temple are indicated in a board at the entrance by ASI. Did not remember the name of guide but came to know that he is the fourth generation who is part of the team protecting the heritage structure.

This location is a must visit in your itineary. There is an entrance fee of 20 /- per head.
