Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Founded 1987 as a charity, the Hovercraft Museum Trust has become the world's greatest collection of Hovercraft. Come visit our large collection of hovercraft large, and small. From the world's biggest commercial hovercraft, the SRN4, that ran a car ferry service across the channel to France, to craft used to film James Bond Die Another Day.

It was nice to see a hovercraft that we did trials on when I was in the forces. All though, it was never put into real service because of the noise it made. Nice to see the big hovercraft, and there are many in the museum, which, only opens certain times of the year as I believe it is manned by volunteers. All in all a real nice day at the museum, worth a visit.
