This restaurant is attached to the Auberge de Baudinard hotel and a true gem. Every night, the owner of the place prepares one set menu (starter, main dish, desert) according to the highest standards of French and Provencal cuisine. The price of the menu is absolutely affordable - when we went there, it was 27.50 euros per adult for three courses.

We ate in the restaurant three evenings in a row and had truly amazing food each time. The service is cordial, personal and at the same time professional. The wines are great and from local wine growers. For gourmands visiting the area of the Verdon canyon and Lac de St. Croix, this restaurant is a must.

Our worst meal in France during our two week holiday. There was no choice of menu despite various different menus options displayed outside. This was not a problem for us but the quality of food was substandard. Furthermore, after being brought our canapés we were asked if we would like to wait for our entrees. We requested a few minutes but the entrees appeared immediately with the waitress saying that she had been overruled by her boss. The starters were cold so there was absolutely no excuse for us being rushed. The rest of the meal was similarly rushed and the food was pretty awful. The pork main course was overlooked and dry whist the dessert consisted of tinned fruit.
We will not return.

Wonderful french romantic ambience in this charming restaurant. Superb food served with a smile. My husband had the duck which he particularly raved about. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Restaurant is attached to a small hotel which made a perfect stay.

Food is good but stupidly expensive. Wouldn't go again. It's the sort of place you go once . Closed all Sunday evening and all day Monday.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and were fascinated by the skills and mastery of the chef. The choice is not that wide, but no matter what you shoose the food will be perfect. Local wines are the best I have ever tried.
