The charm of this hotel is in the conversion of a beautiful old house in to a good hotel, and is located close to the Zocola. The restaurant is located in the open courtyard in the centre of the property.

There are only a small number of rooms which are furnished in a traditional manner. Rooms are spacious with a sitting area. Bathrooms have a separate shower and toilet with twin basins. There are a good selection of toiletries and bottled water is supplied in the room. The shower temperature was dependent upon the number of other people using hot water at the same time. We had considerable difficulty regulating the air-conditioning, which was either freezing or too warm. Our room was on the street and we had a fair amount of noise.

We encountered some problems due to our lack of Spanish, but this is our fault, not theirs.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and you can choose from the menu.

Beautiful building with really spacious and lovely rooms. Service was impeccable. Breakfast was included and wow....a great selection of gourmet Mexican food! You can walk to the Zocalo in 5 minutes and it is close to everything in the historic district. WIFI and good cable tv made it perfect. The bed was a dream as was the bathroom. They serve tea and coffee all day on the second floor patio. Could not ask for more. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful room with exposed beams, plaster details, beautiful furniture and huge. Noisy at night as our room was on the corner and one of the streets was obviously a major road. Restaurant had very good food and excellent service. Enjoyed our two nights there and in Puebla.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The building was built in 17th century but it has been completely renovated. It is located in the historic center, about 2 blocks from main square (Zocalo) The property is small with only 10 luxury rooms and suites. Each room and suite are different and uniquely beautiful. We have stayed there 2 times and have already made another reservation. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly reccomend this hotel. It is probably a most unique property I've ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Be mindful that the traffic noise can be heard to some extent from all rooms. If you are noise sensitive, I recommend rooms located to the left side of hotel entrance (rooms 1&2).

We came with our three small children and found the staff courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious, individually and uniquely decorated, and all have modern amenities (designer bathrooms, lots of closet space, a pillow menu...) The restaurant and room service are very slow but otherwise do not have any complaints.
