The staff at this place are lovely and the rooms are very clean. We had a great balcony overlooking the street. Often that means noise at night, but the hotel is in a pretty quiet part of the city so it wasn't loud...except in the mornings, when the church next door rang its bells every 10 minutes or so starting at 6:30. That may have been because we were there close to Christmas; you may have better luck.
The restaurant has a good selection but either we ordered poorly or the food isn't very good.
If you're planning to do a lot of day trips out of Puebla via bus, this is a good place to stay because it's right near one of the few places in town where you can easily take public transit to the bus station (which is located quite far from the downtown core). If you're mostly in Puebla to see the lovely downtown core, you might find this hotel a bit far from the action. It's about a nine-block walk to the zocalo. I can't remember how long it took - maybe about 20 minutes? That's not at all unreasonable, but it could be disappointing if you weren't expecting it.
