“Holy Gold”

Amazing. What a sight with all that gold. Glad we happened back to see this one (we'd first dropped by midday when the church was closed). It was moving to see the, what seemed like infinite, decorations gleaming in the late afternoon light. I would recommend going after 4 pm to get a sense of the place with sunlight beaming it during the late afternoon.

“Incredible!!! Something to see”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

The chapel is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. All the decorations are in gold. If you visit Puebla you MUST go there. I would like to add that the travel warning for Puebla is not longer there. Give yourself a chance and visit Puebla, a safe and amazing city!

“Beautiful, most seen place”
Reviewed September 10, 2012

hand made, cover with gold, one of the most amazing places Puebla has to offer definitely a place to visit and take a tour guide to have the whole explanation on how and why it was made like that.
