“Lively, Colonial Square”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014 via mobile

You can do much worse than the Zocalo in Puebla. Yummy eateries, great dulcerias and all the street life that you never get in the USA abound. A great way to spend an afternoon chowing on tacos al pastor, people watching, and living la vida Mexicana.

“Wonderful Experience”

Great place to visit (day-time & night-time) especially during the Holiday season! Had the best mole in Mexico at the hotel's restaurant (can't remember the name) on this square!

“Central Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

Enjoy watching venders and children playing. Its a lovely park. Everything there is worth seeing. Shopping, coffee, foods, and the colors and the music. Be prepared to have groups of 4 or 5 students practice their languages on you. Very cute.

“Nicer zocalo than most”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

Puebla's pretty zocalo seems to be busy both during the day and at night; the evening also brings beautiful views of the illuminated cathedral and park areas.

“Teaming with life”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

We happened to be here a day before 'dia de Los muertos' and the Zocalo was pumping with zombies, smurfs, clowns, calaveras and even chucky was there.
This is a must see.
If you go to Puebla and fail to visit the Zocalo there's something wrong with you.
