“Newly Remodelled”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

This is a world class museum that has been completely remodeled so although it is in an older building the inside is great. You can not leave Puebla without visiting this museum.

“Snoozer”

Unless you really like museums, I'd skip this one and enjoy many of the other amazing sites in this city.

“Nice, but under construction”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

We were first excited, then slightly disappointed because a lot of the exhibits were not there (reconstruction). However, it was still interesting.

“Not worth visiting until renovation finished”
Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

I visited on a Monday which was fortuitous since it was free. The prehispanic section - which I think is the best- is closed for at least 18 months whilst it is renovated. One is able to ppek into the entrance though and it is a shame it was closed as it looks great.
I found the silver section and the furniture section not that interesting and most explanations were in Spanish only.
I would not recommend it until the most interesting part reopened.

“Nice but not as great as advertised”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We enjoyed our visit to this museum but were underimpressed--maybe because our expectations were set very high by the guidebooks. We enjoyed the exhibits but there weren't many. We almost missed the second building.
