I visited on a Monday which was fortuitous since it was free. The prehispanic section - which I think is the best- is closed for at least 18 months whilst it is renovated. One is able to ppek into the entrance though and it is a shame it was closed as it looks great.
I found the silver section and the furniture section not that interesting and most explanations were in Spanish only.
I would not recommend it until the most interesting part reopened.
