I was starcing because my hotel did not offer a single vegan option on the menu, when I suddenly found this hidden jewel. It is the equivalent of fast food, but suitable for vegans and vegetarians. I would not go as far as to say that it's quality food, but I was grateful to eat at all. Super cheap. They did have a great selection of veg*an goodies like TVP, soy milk, tempeh and a selection of juices. I would definitely come back.

You can wait for a long time for a waitress to come by your table and take your order, even if you eat the buffet it will take a while to even get the bill. The food is good and the bread is awesome.

Don't bother! Sounds great, veggie food with a buffet menu everyday, i have eaten there many times over the last 2 years but after the last couple of times i will not return, the food is not to the same quality as it used to be and the prices have gone up. The plate orders also more expensive, lower quality and smaller.

How fortuitous for a traveler in Mexico to find a vegetarian restaurant right in the Centro Historico of Puebla! I ordered Pappas, French fries. They were freshly cooked in clear vegetable oil, and not salted. Salt is an option, as is ketchup.
The buffet had my mouth watering, quite large, with many cold salads and even more hot dishes. Next time I will have the lunch buffet, which I think is only 75 p.

You won't leave La Zanahoria hungry when you take the buffet; it's plenty of food. The unlucky thing is, that this restaurant is not to advice for people who cannot eat dairies, since all protein, which have the essential amino-acids (necessary for the body to be able to absorb the non-essential amino-acids of the vegetable proteins with 3 exceptions: quinoa, seaweed and spirulina/chlorella) come from dairies.
When you have eaten here a few times you also feel that food has always the kind of same taste.
