“Junk”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

If you need something for your next yard-sale: This is the place to go. You find all kind of stuff to attract the dust at home. But if you enter the street around you might find some Talavera Treasure.

We took our family with 4 children to this market. midsized market with decent prices. Good selection and within walking distance fromt the Zocalo. Friendly people and lots of restaurants nearby. Near the painters market which has a nice selection of artists work at decent prices.

“Great Open Air Market”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

This is a great place to buy souvenirs and walking distance to the Zocalo and a lot of hotels. You can find all kinds of things from little trinkets, to jewelry, to blankets, to clothing. Their are a lot of shops that sell talavera, which is the pottery that Puebla is known for. Just beware that if you are not Mexican, you will be overcharged. Even so, the prices are decent.
