Conveniently located near artisan markets as well as directly across a quiet street from the convention center. The convention center is beautiful inside....both modern and evocative of the historical origens of the site. The Sanborns at the convention center has an atm inside. I enjoyed a restaurant at the convention center next to Sanborns called something like Tarts which has savory and sweet tarts, their pastry case looks filled with edible works of art, they have great salads, and relaxing atmosphere. It is also easy to cross 5 de Mayo on foot and walk to the Zocalo if you are up for a moderately short walk.

My room at Casareyna was relaxing and immaculate and the staff were all extremely nice and helpful. A continental breakfast of fruit, sweet bread, jam, juice and coffee was included. I found I had to order a main plate off the menu to start the day off with some protein. Everything in Casareyna's restaurant was excellently prepared. The atmosphere within Casareyna and their restaurant was artistic and restful.

My wife and I stayed at Casareyna for 3 nights in August 2012. We had a great time. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful! Everywhere we turned they greeted us with a smile. The location is pretty convenient; it is wonderfully located in downtown within a walking distance of many sites such as the cathedral, the central plaza and the convention center. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was very tasty; the hotel rooms are spacious, fresh and spotless with every luxury amenity. The hotel has a very nice decor; and it also has a really nice patio where you can chat, eat or just relax.

Be it for business and pleasure, Casa Reyna, Puebla, is a hidden treasure (even the taxi driver needed my Google map to find it), yet it is close to the center of everything, but unaffected by the hustle and bustle of a big city. A pleasant and small oasis with only 10 rooms - I was given room 210 - quiet, classy, super clean, an ample suite with spacious bathroom, professional and attentive staff, from the doorman and cleaning woman to the waiters in the restaurant and the receptionists. The hotel is medium priced, but worth every penny. It is the little things that make the difference: a snow white bath robe, thick towels, a full assembly of shampoo, body wash, body lotion and mouth wash. A WiFi modem in every room for a strong signal and heavenly beds with European-style eiderdown covers. A healthy and satisfying continental breakfast is included - juice, coffee, a bowl of yogurt with fruit, corn bred with their own jam and marmalade. The food in the restaurant in general is excellent, varied, expertly prepared, attractively presented and reasonably priced. I am very pleased that I "stumbled" upon Casa Reyna hotel and restaurant and spent four pleasant days and nights there. And will again when back in Puebla...

Room Tip: Rooms and suites on the upper level are probably more quiet than on the lower one.

One of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed. You can tell Casareyna takes care about all the details. The people at the front desk are very nice at all times, they make you feel at home!

Rooms are just what you're looking for when resting and having a good time. The food at the restaurant is awesome, you have to try the chalupas de mole, mole sample plate, mango steak and reyna salad. The also have a very good wine list with fair prices!

I traveled for a business trip to Puebla and decided to stay at Casareyna. I had the must splendid time during my stay. Friendly and pro staff, clean, quiet, big, nice and cozy rooms, the best food and a very charming and warm atmosphere.

The place is very good, I got room 205 and it was just great.

Location: 3 blocks away from the Zocalo and Cathedral, in front of the Convention Center and 15 minutes away from the biggest shopping mall. All touristic atractions are walking distance.

A two night family stay to see the beautiful city of Puebla was made even better by our selection of this hotel. The rooms were very large, clean and well appointed and the shower had excellent pressure. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and lunch and the staff were friendly and attentive. The location is outstanding: within walking distance of all museums and churches and attractions yet not impacted by the hustle and bustle of the city center. Complimentary wifi and excellent Sky cable tv kept us connected and most importantly allowed us to watch Mexico defeat Brazil in the Olympic Gold medal final! The Talavera pottery on display in the rooms and common areas of the hotel is beautiful and gives this modern property a local flavor. We will surely stay here again on our next visit.
