“Great coffee plus bohemian environment”
Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

One of my favorite places in the city. Yes, it is usually crowded on weekends because they have good deals on beer and other drinks, but try going there earlier for a cup of delicious coffee or to have lunch (Viandante restaurant has the best subs in the whole city). It's a nice place to meet with friends or even go on your own to read or write as you watch Morelia's artists passing by. A piece of advise, there are beggars all around downtown and they often go there to ask tourists for money, so just ignore them or tell them you have no change on you at the moment. They are harmless, but if you start giving your change away at the end you will realize you could have bought a couple of beers with that.

“Crowded, smoke-filled, not much of a "garden"”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

Based on the recommendation of others, we visited the "Jardin" at night. VERY DISAPOINTED! It was crowded with people, filled with smoke (cigarette and "other"), and really not much of a garden. More bars than coffee shops. We walked through and decided to head back to the main square for a cup of coffee in a much nicer environment.

“Lovely, lively setting - great coffee shops”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Children played in the park, with the backdrop of beautiful historical buildings and a string of sidewalk coffee shops. We enjoyed delicious mocha coffee while watching the world go by.

It is a very nice place to rest after sightseeing. Here you can enjoy outdoor seating and its cocktail.

“Great place for a drink”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

Busy and full of university students this is a fun place for a drink over happy hour. Our bar had two for one drinks (which we weren't expecting) so we ended up very happy indeed.
