I have a niece that studied music here last summer, so I wanted to see it. Lovely gardens and we just loved seeing all the young people hanging out playing instruments and chatting. Really nice park out in front for sipping cafe and people-watching.

Another marvel of Morelia's colonial architecture! Well worth the visit, as well as all the rest of the buildings downtown.

It is a good spot to hang out and have coffee but there weren't many roses to see. Many young couples kissing here.

I really enjoyed the marvelous and diverse free concerts I attended in this venerable Music Conservatory in Morelia. I saw orchestra performances, a blues group and an incredible children's choir. Quality performances at a comfortable and beautiful setting.

We were heading to the Templo de las Rosas next door but as we passed the doorway to the Conservatory the sound of music drew us in. The passageway from the street opened into a lovely courtyard surrounded on all sides by deep cloisters. We found a bench and sat for a bit, listing to the music and drinking in the peace and tranquility.
