Description: We are a social enterprise cafe run by Rosemarkie Amenities Association set in a nice green field right beside a sandy beach. We are a short walk from the nearest on street parking over a wee bridge. Great beach for rock-pooling, paddling and dolphin-spotting. Our young trainee staff learn to make simple food well: home-made soup, cheese toasties, hot drinks, salads. We have very naughty cakes and lovely ice-cream. We are not the Ritz and we can't do much about the weather but we have a nice wee exhibition about the local area which is free, walks leaflets, maps and our staff are all local. This year's profits will contribute to the replacement of our seaside tennis courts. Donations very welcome! We are open until 3.30 daily until early November when we go down to Friday, Saturday and Sunday instead. Come and see us soon!

We have been coming to Rosemarkie on and off for seventeen years and were pleasantly surprised with the new look of the beach café. It is just wonderful. Loved the exhibition too and the brilliant walks leaflet available.
Great cakes and ices. Lovely new benches outside, pleasant welcoming staff and great views. Lovely play area, too.
Keep up the good work, we will be back.

The cafe has been great for a year or two now, but the new exhibition is really interesting. I can not imagine a lovelier place to sit and have a relaxing drink & bite. The toilets are so clean and have been refurbished and painted; and have the latest hand driers. The adventure play area is safe and great fun for adults with children. There is usually a dog's drinking dish outside as well. This has been my favourite beach for 20 years, but it's getting better as the facilities improve.

Rosemarkie is a childhood haunt so I was delighted to see it's even better than I remember now it has a super cafe. Aged 7 I remember buying a dime bar and bucket and spade but the cafe offers so much more these days; delicious cake, great service and a super little exhibition. Keep it up; you're creating happy holiday memories.

Wonderful location on the beach at Rosemarkie. Friendly service, good coffee and cake.
Would like to see more definite times of opening. A sign says something about staying open later if it's fine weather, but it was fine the day we visited yet they were closing relatively early as they had somewhere they had to be.
But I would definitely re visit and just hope I strike lucky. Perfect place to sit outside and relax with good company, but equally somewhere you would be happy to visit alone.

This is a nice little café straight on the beach. I cannot understand why they have to use machine tea/coffee though. The cake was delicious.
