I visited here yesterday as a last minute decision, and I am so glad that i did. what a marvellous place. Wish i could have spent more time there. The displays are thought provoking & the little gift shop delightful. The ladies who work there are so friendly and helpful.

Found this wee place by accident and so glad we did. Really interesting museum. Beautifully laid out. Admission is free but they rely on donations so please give generously. There was a lovely lady who volunteers there. She was very helpful and full of interesting information. Please visit here - you'll love it!

We spent an afternoon exploring Rosemarkie, visiting the Fairy Glen, and watching for dolphins, but I must say this was the highlight!
To experience such ancient and beautiful art up close like this is inspiring. The replica Pictish harp was a lovely touch. I love that the displays are interactive. The staff was very warm and knowledgeable, their love for the history and art of the place was tangible. I highly recommend this gorgeous little treasure to everyone, including families with children.
