If you are looking for something you might find at home not so. It appeared to be a work in progress but there were many different kinds of cactus you many never have seen before its still worth going too.

This quiet space is lovely. Right now the road construction can slow your progress but you end up in a pretty spot and have the chance to see osprey, pelicans and egrets.

I liked seeing all the hawks, vultures, cormorants and coots! It's also a nice walk with benches if you need a break. Take a bottle of water. If you are lucky, the icecream man will peddle his bike by.

My family and I enjoyed the estuary. Lots of picture taking opportunities. It could have been cleaner, but they were working on it when we were there. The best place to come in was by the Holiday Inn or off the beach. Joggers there and it is quite safe.

Though I didn't see too many birds here, I found a lot of solitude. It's quiet, nice and relaxing. Take your camera with you! Spend 1-2 hours just walking here at a slow pace. Maybe sit down for a while, read a book. It's free.
