“Very relaxing”

You'll see many birds in the water and in the trees as you walk along the path through the Estuary. We saw only two other people during our 30-minute walk. At the north end of the Estuary is an opening to walk into the town of San Jose del Cabo.

very nice area with lots of birds of different species. Great walking path along the sanctuary. We biked the path with a tour offered at our resort.

“Pretty but not much to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Very pretty to walk around, but we didn't see many birds? It was nice for a late afternoon stroll but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

“Great for walks”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

Whenever you want to see some green you can go to the estuary. Thought is sometimes smells kinda bad, there's a whole other side of the desert. Lots of animals and a great place to go for a walk.

“Bring a camera and a good hat”

Having fish bones tossed on your head from an osprey, what more could a birder ask? :)

The estuary was a highlight of our trip, I would definitely return.
