“Great Hotel”

My boyfriend planned a mystery long weekend trip for our birthdays. I had no idea we were going to Cabo until we got on our connecting flight. He reserved two nights at the Hyatt Ziva and it was the perfect choice. Since I had no idea where we were going before we left I tried not to have too high of expectations. However, the Hyatt Ziva exceed anything I would have imagined. The hotel was excellent. The ocean was beautiful. We enjoyed two days of all inclusive food and drinks while hanging out in the beach cabanas. The outside bartenders and pool concierges were awesome. Hugo, the pool manager, was incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. All in all, it was a great vacation and I would highly recommend the Hyatt Ziva.

We just returned today from our stay at Ziva. My wife and I took our 2 sons for their respective college and high school graduation gift. We had a great experience at this hotel and were very pleased with the friendly and "eager to please" staff. From the airport transportation to the pool staff, this resort made it easy to like. We chose a premium package and Martha provided that premium professional touch that helps you see the value in the upgrade. Isela, at the activity and excursion desk (?) was just the most pleasant person. She was so helpful and thorough with our excursion selection process. The pool activities were enough to keep you engaged but not so overbearing that you couldn't relax. The Banana Bar-tenders were the hardest working staff I think simply due to their popularity...tireless. If there's any criticism it would be in the restaurant availability. Clearly, more staff is needed for the number of venues they offer. The Martini Bar was a big hit! In summary...Great destination, great experience!

Room Tip: Building 2 was a good choice. 3rd floor offered unobstructed views of the pool and beach.

We stayed here 8 days / 7 nights and had a FANTASTIC time.

The property is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and well kept. The beds are truly COMFORTABLE.

The food was amazing. They have six restaurants and we tried them ALL. The Italian TWICE. The antipasti table alone is worth eating there every night. And this is all-inclusive!

The two buffets have vast selection of items and are top notch as well.

The service was also great all around. Daniel at La Hacienda and then the Italian place was top notch. We stayed at La Hacienda until they closed and our kids fell asleep. Daniel simply arranged some chairs so our kids could keep sleeping while they kept cleaning the restaurant and let us talk until we could talk no more. Daniel is A1+.

The drinks are top quality. Better stuff that you can find in other all-inclusives. Johnny Walker black label and other well known top shelf brands.

We would return to Hyatt Ziva without flinching.

We stayed here for 4 days this month. hotel was very nice, restaurants, pool and beach were great.

Most if not all the staff spoke English, and were excellent. Marco Villanueva was amazing he took take great care of us.

The best thing about this hotel is their pool, bar and restaurant staff.

The nightly shows were very entertaining.

Amazing resort! Not a bad thing to say!! All restaurants were great and food was excellent. Each restaurant was different so the food was never the same. So many choices, in 5 nights we didn't even have a chance to try them all! Plenty of bars spread out across the resort so you are always convenient to a drink! Even so, the wait staff tries to make sure that you don't even need to leave your lounge chair if you want something to eat or drink. Enough entertainment to satisfy! Nightly music in multiple bars / lounge areas and each bar had a slightly different menu too! Rooms were perfect! We had a jr suite and for a free upgrade to a family suite. More room than we needed but two bathrooms (yeah that's right!) made it very convenient to not have to share and be able to get reedy at the same time. Wifi throughout the lobby and pool areas was good. Pools were clean and so large that they were never too busy. We stayed at the quieter adult pool area mostly but even the main pools were not too rowdy and the mix of ages from younger children, 20's and 30+ crowd was pretty even. Overall, amazing and recommend. I can't wait to come back!

Beautiful property and hotel! Excellent food and drinks! Wonderful customer service! We will definitely be back!!!
Didn't bring the kids this time but noticed it was VERY family friendly yet romantic for us with no kids. Next time we will bring kids!!

I stayed 4 night 5 days. Hyatt ziva is very quite and clean hotel. staff works very hard to work to keep clean condition. I think end of may to beginning of June is very low season so i couldn't see lots of people. hotel staff was nice especially zitlali who works swim bar. she was always smiling. Also alberto who works buffet restaurant is awesome. Everything i was happy to stay hyatt ziva except night life. they don't have much fun.if you want to fun night life you have to choose other hotel.
