Very nice sidewalk setting across from Cabo Azul. Wife had the Beef Cabernet, I chose the special of Grilled Mahi, Mahi Alfredo, both were delicious and very reasonably priced for quality and quantity. The wife proclaimed that this was the best prepared beef meal she had ever had at a restaurant. The wait staff was over the top on every detail. Very enjoyable and when the bill arrived it was even more pleasant! A violinist showed up just as we finished our meal, was very pleasant and made the evening even better. You better check this out if you are in the area!

This sidewalk cafe restaurant is located in the Plaza shopping center in Jose Del Cabo. It has the feel of a quaint european restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service couldn't be better. My wife enjoyed the Sea Bass on a bed of cactus fruit and vegetables, and I totally devored the blacken seared Ahi. The fish is so fresh and the portions are very large. We enjoyed the food so much we came back for breakfast and enjoyed their version of huevos rancheros which was equally delicious. If you enjoy seafood, you will enjoy the great food and service at the Galeria!

Domingo, our server, greeted us with a warm smile. He was the reason we chose To try this place for lunch. Best shrimp tacos I have ever had. The staff was friendly, helpful and eager to get to know us and what we liked to eat. Truly a memorable experience and we wish Domingo all the best! Go see him and try this delightful restaurant you won't regret it.

As frequent visitors to San Jose, we enjoy the vibrant restaurant scene and try to get to as many of the new ones as possible. Not to be confused with La Galeria at the marina in Cabo San Lucas, this restaurant is located in San Jose across from the Cabo Azul Resort.

The evening did not begin well - the wine list is limited (for wine by the glass) and the pour is short and over-priced, for the volume. My wife was provided with a "taster" by Oscar, however, the full glass never appeared, once she gave her thumbs up. We ordered salads and the fish special (Mahi Mahi) and then we waited...and waited...and finally had to ask where our salads were. By this time we began to realize that Oscar was different from the other waiters: he wasn't dressed as smartly as the others and did not have an apron like the rest of them. Whether this was because he was more senior (doubtful) or a novice, we'll never know, as he was almost invisible and when he did put in an appearance he was sullen and disinterested.

The food was very good, if somewhat pricey, in this competitive market. The setting is great - lots going on on the street and the live music was wonderful. We may give it another chance and see if we have a better experience but not on this trip - too many other spots to check out.
